![]() They have it all – money, family, house – and are fooling themselves into thinking they’re fulfilled. They’re comfortable where they are and don’t want to rock the boat. You might think there are many things that prevent people from finding their true purpose. The two things that keep you from finding your purpose And fulfillment isn’t a luxury or leisure activity – it’s a necessity. Achieving goals does not equal happiness.” So if you’re asking yourself, “ What is my purpose ?,” what you’re really asking for is progress – a true sense of fulfillment. ![]() You’ll remember it as long as you live: progress. At Date With Destiny, Tony tells everyone in the room: “I will tell you right now, there’s one word that will give you happiness, one. Purpose takes those goals to an even higher level. Goals, like buying a house or opening a business, yield a sense of achievement and are essential to living the life you desire. But all those things will ultimately leave you feeling empty. Instead of asking “ What is my purpose in life?,” we start coveting status, material goods and power. We are then susceptible to envy as we look around and see what everyone else has that we don’t. When we stop growing, we start feeling pain, fear and anxiety. Everything in life is calling to us to grow. ![]() We naturally only feel fulfilled when we’re improving ourselves or our lives in some way. Tony says, “If you’re not growing, you’re dying” – which is why growth is addictive to many of us. ![]()

![]() This is a small, 10-year-old "start up" with no HR department. ![]() The CEO casually discusses employees' performance with other employees even when those conversations should be confidential. As such, first-year employees who were promised 30 days are actually given 15). Yet, PTO does not accrue for 6 months, and accruals are not retroactive once an employee reaches six months. ![]() Hiring practices are at best incompetent and at worse intentionally deceptive (for example, new hires are told they receive 30 days of PTO. CEO micromanaged some tasks while failing to communicate clear expectations, leaving staff unable to act on her unspoken but very real expectations. This includes folks who entered the organization and left within that year). Turnover is extremely high (From August 2018 to September 2019, all but one full-time staffer, excluding the CEO, left the organization. There's no excuse (despite her attempts to excuse and/or apologize after her episodes are over, only to repeat the cycle again) that justifies the way she behaves in the workplace. It's incredible that she has managed to get away with this behavior and lack of professionalism that would absolutely not be tolerated at any regular, functioning company. This creates an extremely hostile and toxic work environment - I cannot stress enough that whatever you hope to get out of this job is not worth your mental health and sanity. If she doesn't understand something (a project, a technology platform, etc.) she will become extremely irritable and take out her frustrations on you personally. She can't seem to effectively communicate the basics of job expectations, but absolutely can expect you to read her mind and will belittle you if you don't deliver on her unspoken expectations. There's no clear leadership, no HR department, no onboarding/hiring orientation for most positions, and so forth.Ībout the CEO - to echo other reviews, she is extremely volatile and prone to aggressive outbursts she will openly disrespect employees (in front of other staff on calls), and criticize other employees to staff behind their back. ![]() There’s no strategy or business plan at Story2. The issue with the CEO stems from her personality and approach to running a "business" (the word business should be used very, very loosely here). These individuals were competent and skilled workers, but those types of employees clearly don't last at this company, because the toxic work environment causes anyone with a shred of self-respect to quit quickly. Like other reviews have mentioned, the turnover rate is incredibly high (over a period of three months, four staff left - I believe there is only one full time staffer now that has managed to stay at the company for longer than a year). She is emotionally manipulative, incompetent, immature, unstable, vengeful, and above all, a bully. It's clear to see what the issue is at this company, and it begins and ends with the CEO. ![]() This is my honest opinion about working at Story2 - I’m guessing the positive reviews are from employees who had minimal interaction with the CEO. ![]() ![]()

![]() Just take longer time compared to those whales.Īlso, the core of this game is the GvG. Usually whale guild will be on the top rank so it's very unlikely that you will match against whale unless the whale guild purposely drop their point to have an easy match up for gran Colo.Īll I can say is, my friend is a f2p minstrel 140k that can hit 1mil def buff during Colo. Good thing there isn't pvp in this game and only GvG ( guild v guild). Including grand coloseum, every month as f2p you can save at least 3k gems with summon 10x require 300 gems. ![]() Me and my friends play it because we are busy with work during the day and this game do not require alot of attention other than during coloseum.į2P element in this game is not that bad tbh compared to other gacha such as fallout shelter online. I got rus and my friend is f2p rg and understand that this game is not for everyone. I've been playing this game since day 1 too. But those shorter story line segments are doable and it's nice. I was pretty sad because the voice acting work for this game is superb. This is the first game where I regretfully had to press Skip because the narration takes way too long for something not much of substance that you can just understand from skimming alone. But too bad it doesn't take long till you get to the point of those one sentence story portions again. I'm not too hopeful for the future of this game because of the 5 step change and problems cropping up with Colosseum but I hope it stays because even with all the bad it's still a decent experience if you have a solid group to play with.Īnd with the story, it does get better with the new Reality Arc. Game is going to get fusion soon - what they called it (US and Asia) and get integrated because of the lack of players in certain time slots. The event before the current one (Dodo) was absolute ass for rearguard players because of the difficulty level. You had early Chapel event (same in early JP days) where you can't literally do it cause it was too hard and only whales played. They changed some stuff (like banners becoming 5 steps instead of the normal 3). There are many things that will put off people in this game, and it's understandable why. Being able to get SR stuff for your role is too important in this game if you want to achieve something. ![]() That's why being able to buy a paid Nightmare and using RUS (equivalent of those monthly pack things) is essential. Nightmares (summons) are too strong and vital for any content and there are very few alternatives that work decently. I understand why most people would hate this, because progression is only tied to gacha. You stay here for the guilds and nothing else. I knew what I was going in to since I played the JP version before back in the day and actually did my research. ![]() ![]() ![]() Events get a little muddy after NieR’s ending, but we’ll do our best to explain some possible connections and links between the original and Automata. We’ll be going through significant events like the Flower’s appearance in Drakengard 3, the creation of the Cult of the Watchers, the defeat of the Queen-beast and appearance of the Legion, as well as the start of Project Gestalt and the events of the original NieR. This means that we’ll only be covering the events in the relevant branches for each game, but do note that the endings we do leave out also contain lore points that will help to further your understanding of this world. For the purposes of this article, we’ll be examining the timeline that brings us to the events of NieR: Automata. The world’s history spans the entirety of three different games (so far), and each has multiple endings that lead into different timelines. It's no wonder that he chooses to sacrifice himself for Zero in the main game's prologue, he simply couldn't bear another loss of his loved ones.Understanding the world of Midgard and NieR’s depiction of Tokyo is no easy feat. At the very end, the story reveals that on the night Michael agrees to fight with Zero, he has a dream of the past and once more feeling the fear of yet another battle and the loss of something precious to him.At the end of the DLC, Zero, after losing Michael, quietly tells his spirit to hold on a little more in the afterlife, because she will be joining him soon. Zero, meanwhile, keeps calling him stupid and declaring that she doesn't trust him but it's obvious that she holds great affection for the dragon. Michael reveals to Zero how he's lost everything that he loved and believed in but still wants to seek out a companion in her because being alone is the same as being dead. It begins as rough (and humorous) as you would expect but soon turns into a beautiful friendship between two sorrowful people with a same goal. Zero's DLC is the story of how she and Michael meet each other.Despite his sexual antics, Octa truly, genuinely loved Three, and the ending shows him crossing the Despair Event Horizon from over how far she has fallen. He begs and pleads for her to stop as her sanity slips away, going into disturbing detail over her methods of toying with the lives of innocent people. You'll truly feel sorry for Octa as he is horrified by how many people Three tortured, experimented on, and ultimately killed for her research and obsession with humans as dolls. However, Two placed a trap to kill all those around her so they again both die together (with the other disciples) while Cent says that he is here for her. In Branch C, Two again goes insane without Cent beside her, but this time Cent decides to put her out of her misery. As they die, they're comforted that they will be together forever and they summon an Angel to at least make sure Zero goes down with them. When they are reunited, Cent immediately betrays Zero and returns to to Two's side. Without Cent, Two lost her reason to the Flower. In Branch B, Accord made Cent forget Two so that Cent allies with Zero. However, Branch D and the DLC reveals this as a lie, as he explicitly says that all he cares about is Two, and that a world without her is meaningless. Cent allies with Zero saying that he doesn't care as long as he serves an Intoner. She dies while saying Mikhael's name, so she must have regained consciousness just before dying. In Branch A, she is pretty much dead inside after the events of her DLC.It really takes away any guilty feelings you might've had about killing Four and replaces them with worse ones. You hear the elves screaming in terror in childlike voices, and you also hear that their families are on the Mothership that is the final boss of Four's chapter. The crude humor and violence? It's just there to trick you into enjoying the stabbing-your-back that it's doing, right up until it twists the knife. In Ending B, when Zero performs an heroic sacrifice to save Mikhail's life in her only open use of Intoner magic in the game. She may be a Death Seeker, but at the very least she wanted Mikhail to live on. And when One verbally tears at Zero, Zero tells her to shut up while trying to hold back her tears. The sight of this coarse, murder-happy Intoner trying to physically push Mikhail back from going through with it is strangely heartbreaking. In Branch A, Zero begs Mikhail not to use his final wish just to weaken Gabriel. ![]() ![]() ![]() Located in Kanazawa, within 1.8 km of Kanazawa Castle and 1.7 km of Kenrokuen Garden, Gunjo no Tsuki provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The most glaring of which is that the vehicle combat is trash your car always feels like it has 2 hit points in comparison to the enemies, who have a regular health pool. There are definitely some issues with Borderlands, as with the first game in any series, but they're very minor, in my opinion. I think games that have this kind of accessibility are really cool, because on the flip side, I'm sure there were gamers that were gods in shooters, but only picked gear based off its level, and also went nuts all over Blands. FPS games were never really my forte, but RPGs were, and I think Gearbox mashed them together beautifully, allowing a doo-doo tier COD noob like me to analyze all the different skills and statistics and still be able to clear the game's toughest challenges. The gameplay is what really had me fired up. ![]() Granted, graphics are far from the most important part of a game, but I think games that went out of their way to look unique and identifiable definitely hold their own more when compared to the games available today. Because it was made with a stylish and comic-like aesthetic, you can always come back to it and find yourself immediately sucked into Pandora without focusing on how laughable realism was for games made in 2009. Graphically, I think Borderlands holds up incredibly well. In an age where game developers were constantly pushing for realism, Gearbox went with a different angle and made a zany, over-the-top, cel-shaded, apocalyptic gunfest that's kept me and millions of others entertained for years! Borderlands was the first looter-shooter game to really warp the genre and make it what it is today. ![]() |
